Local Waters

Fishing Cheshire and North Wales

Here on the borders of Cheshire and North Wales is a range of fishing on rivers and stillwaters to satisfy the enthusiastic fly fisher. From salmon, sea trout, wild brown trout and beautiful grayling. All these species are found in the renown Welsh Dee and a selection of smaller spate rivers.

For the stillwater angler, there is Lake Brenig and Lake Vyrnwy and many smaller commercial fisheries from approximately 1– 20 acres in size.

Our Fishing Specialist runs short, free introduction courses followed by a full one-day course on a local fishery. Please contact the store for more details or come by and see us.
