Store Manager: Meredith Shows-Davis  
A native Mississippian, Meredith Shows-Davis embodies the Orvis lifestyle in more ways than one. She's an avid outdoor lover, enjoys fly fishing, scuba diving, and sporting clays, and can often be found on her family farm, where she and her husband go long-range rifle shooting. But Meredith’s connection to Orvis goes even further, as she met her husband, Chris, at Orvis; he helped her teach our popular and free Fly Fishing 101 classes for many seasons. A devoted community participant, Meredith’s a member of the Junior League of Jackson and volunteers with Rescue Revolution of Mississippi, a dog rescue organization. At Orvis Jackson, Meredith’s known for her outgoing and friendly demeanor, loves building relationships with associates and customers alike, and when the occasion presents itself, prides herself at being exceptional at hosting parties and events at the store. Assistant Store Manager: Wanda Ferguson  
A native of the Sunshine State, Wanda grew up mere miles from the coast. It’s a place she still holds near and dear, and a locale she visits whenever she can. A self-professed ‘army wife’ for twenty years, Wanda didn’t stay unpacked for long during that time, living in Florida, Texas, Colorado, Alabama, and Germany. Her dedication to the military runs deep, as she tells us, “Overseas care packages and community service were daily in my life for 20 years.” Her experience even inspired her to write a book about the effects of war on returning soldiers and their families.

From an angling angle, Wanda’s relatively new to the fly-fishing world, having traded in her cane pole for a fly rod when she joined Orvis. Since then, she’s fished the beaches of Florida, tried her luck in Lake George, Colorado, and pursued trout on the Eleven Mile Canyon. Wanda’s dedication to her passion and her newfound love of fly fishing put her in the ideal position to help others pursue their passions, whether in the local Jackson area, or anywhere else their adventures take them.
