Store Manager: Harri Wilson
It only took catching one trout on a guided fishing trip to make Harri ask when she would get her own rod, reel, waders, and boots. Since that experience, she fishes whenever she can. She’s a board member of the Delaware Valley Women’s Fly-Fishing Association and particularly fond of the Orvis 50/50 On the Water initiative. Harri’s love for the outdoors runs deep and she told us about a visit to Yosemite that not only took her breath away, but it also brought tears to her eyes, and she looks forward to planning a future trip where National Parks are the destination, not just a stop along the way. Prior to Harri coming to Orvis, she spent time in the culinary field, working as a barista, bartender, line cook, and was a store manager for Sur La Table. Though that’s now history, history was in fact another facet of Harri’s earlier life as she worked as a historical tour guide in Old Philadelphia wearing full colonial garb! These days, Harri’s here to guide you on your next adventure with the best apparel and gear for life outdoors.
Fishing Manager: Chris McCoun Catching your first fish on the fly is a moment many anglers have permanently imprinted in their memories. For Fly-Fishing Manager Chris McCoun, it was in Unami Creek, and from that point on, he never looked back. A fly fisher since the age of 11, Chris is also an avid wingshooter and looks forward to days out with his field partner, a chocolate Lab named Dakota. From his early days fishing in the Adirondacks to an epic three-week fishing-and-camping trip in Montana and Wyoming, Chris is always on the lookout for his next fly-fishing adventure and looks forward to helping others embark on theirs. Perhaps it’s no surprise Chris is so adept at the art of fly fishing; after all, he was voted ‘Most Artistic’ in his high school class.
